This was for the digichick Call to Act challenge.
I already have been acting, so I decided to do a layout about that.

There's no photos, I refuse to go to the actual church, but that's something from my past. I used a photo instead that's meaningful to me, a picture of my husband and first daughter at the place that sent me on the mission of giving to causes like this. Thank you for taking the time to look!

Journaling:
Mother Bachmans started it, I'm just finishing it. I've always been a giving person, just now more so than ever. I've dedicated myself to finding causes that helped people in situations beyond their control. I love them. They're a place for women to go when they needed financial help during pregnancy. THey had a room you can go into and dig through clothes that people and stores had donated and just take what you need. They had bags for you to use as well. If you needed it, you took it, if you would, they ask you give it back when you no longer needed it. I worked as a volunteer, putting away medical records and organizing that room. When I moved back to Utah, I gave my clothes to Deseret Industries and other places that would help others. In California, the clothes went to the school which did a charity clothes drive. Here in Minnesota, I've now found a neighbor who's church does the same thing. Every Tuesday night they have a "New Friends" meet at HOsanna Lutheran Church were they get together, have dinner, and then can go through clothes and coats and pick stuff up that they need - for free. I immediately redirected my clothes that I had been unpacking and giving away to this cause. Three big boxes of stuff that no longer fits my
children and I have been carted off. I still have more boxes to go through, I love causes like this.
