Journaling Reed: "Zoey continues to develop a style that is all her own. Today she wanted to wear part of her hair outside of her hair band but was worried about what the other girls would say at school. I suggested we braid it and she loved that idea. So off to school she went with a single braid and colorful hairband. I'm starting to worry that her confidence is being shaked by her peers. She worries much more about what they think and what they will say than she ever has before. It's not fair that peer pressure has started so early. Be you. Be confident. You are perfect."
