I have always loved living here, but this time we’ve spent in the States had me wishing I hadn’t chosen the life of adventure; I had grown comfortable living in the town I previously couldn’t wait to get out of. When December first arrived, I couldn’t escape the sickening feeling of knowing I had to leave when it was over. I thought the kids would fall apart; I thought that I would fall apart. Yet as soon as the plane touched down in KK, I felt like I had come home. I wasn’t expecting that, but it felt right. To be honest, it felt like we had never left. Instead of being over whelmed by being gone, I just felt so joyful at being here. The kids, too, totally love being back. Unexpected as it was, I am so very thankful for it.

Your journaling is amazing - raw and honest and so descriptive that I actually had a tinge of nervous nausea for you until it became heartwarming with the happy ending. You are so brave to live abroad and leave the comfort of your family to do good and see the world. What amazing lessons you both are teaching the boys. Bravo on the gorgeous LO and storytelling!
