Journaling Reads: This is a time I will happily forget, although these hard times, are what build our strength for trials we are to face in our lives. So this story I will tell, so I am able to remember, I made it, and tomorrow is a brand new day. Love is something that so many of us strive for, we get to the point where, we can’t live without it. Of this I am guilty. Abuse, its one of those things I’ve always said would NEVER happen to me. It did. By the person I was so lost in love with. The feeling of betrayl almost surpasses the embarassment. I couldn’t believe someone I trusted would physically harm me. But it happened and in a flash everything changed. I thank God everyday for allowing me to have a relationship so strong with him, so able to help me see, this was not my fault, the ability to walk away, and the reminder that this will just be a memory of my past, and tomorrow, will always be a brand new day..

Wow, this is stunning. The design is just beautiful, but the journaling is even more impressive. So glad you could find a way to document these feelings to that, like you said, you can look back on that time in your life and know that you did what you had to do in order to survive. Kudos on a beautifully scrapped, heartfelt page!
