01.22: Sam volunteered at Petco today with the Friends for Life {kitty adoptions} from 10-3:30 pm! She had a lot of fun and is going back next week. I took Ben and Abby to Home Depot to their kids workshop and they had so much fun! They can?t wait to go again next week! Ben built a little shelf thing and Abby made a tile that she colored with all kinds of colors. Then we headed to Costco and each had a slice of pizza and then picked up the things we needed. We also stopped at Michael?s where I picked up some glow in the dark stars and planets for Peyton?s room and scored big with their 90% after XMAS sale and picked up a wreath for $4.99 and some cute little baskets for like 50 cents! I went through 4 more boxes/totes from the garage and have another box to go to the thrift store! We are slowly, but surely getting through the garage!
01.23: Peyton refused to go to sleep last night so around midnight I went to bed and he was still up with Matt. I guess they fell asleep on the sofa, but when matt got up at 7 this morning he found Peyton asleep in his computer chair with the iPOD in his lap! He then went back to sleep in his room and I had to make him get up at 1 pm! Dude totally has his days and nights mixed up!
01.24: boy it was a busy day! Took Ben and Sam to the dentist?Ben got another spacer and Sam got a couple of fillings?.then Matt went to the Urologist?I had to go back out and return a movie and the stupid Red Box was broke at Wal-Mart so I had to go to Freddy?s?.I also stopped to get some crafts to do with the kids since I am probably gonna have to be home with them until I get a job or go back to school?.I also did some more research on Skagit so I am going to go back and check it out tomorrow and try to get my driver?s license renewed.
01.25: So here is how my day went:
Woke up at 3 am by Peyton climbing in and out of bed with us?.
Got Ben off to school?
Did a load of laundry; did the dishes and cleaned the kitchen?
Called the home daycare folks to see about getting my daycare price reduced for Abby & Peyton since I would really like to keep Stephanie?had to send an email to the director, so hopefully I will hear back soon?.
Called the GI Bill folks and got the information I needed to get my eligibility entitlement letter?got a cover letter written and a copy of my DD 214?now to get it in the mail
Took a shower and headed out to run errands?
Stopped at Skagit Valley College and re-registered for classes, then signed myself and Sam up to take the COMPASS test next Wednesday?
Went to the post office to mail my DD 214 and Matt?s 2 envelopes?.
Stopped at Office Depot and got another job application?.
Stopped at Safeway and got some more chicken for dinner and a few other things?.
Made it in time to pick Ben up at the bust stop and give him a ride home {even though it is just down the block}?..
Got a call from Stephanie that Peyton hasn?t felt good all day and has been running a fever, but she didn?t have any Tylenol?so I told matt to stop and get him some Tylenol and some chicken noodle soup on the way home?
Got home and started making dinner, but when I checked the grill it wouldn?t light?so I had to put the chicken in the oven and it took FOREVER to bake so everyone just ended up fending for themselves and making something?
Matt actually carried Peyton in the door, so I KNEW he didn?t feel well?gave him some Tylenol and made hi some soup?he ate about ? of his soup and laid back down?.
Matt found one of the Cadbury eggs and receipt I got at Wal-Mart yesterday and said ?Where are the other 3 eggs???I said ?I only ate 2, Abby must have gotten one??he didn?t believe me of coarse! Then later I was picking up around the living room and found the empty egg wrapper on the end table!!! Abby acted like she didn?t know anything about it!!!!
Matt is going to bed early and I am kind of thankful that Peyton is a little on the lethargic side tonight and fairly calm?.Peyton went to bed with Matt, but woke up again around 3 am and was still really warm.
01.26: today was a rough day because Peyton did not feel well all day?I gave him Tylenol all day and every now and then it felt ok, but most of the day he was just not himself?I did get some laundry done and more organizing in my scrapbook room?.Matt stopped and got him some Motrin to see if that would break his fever since the Tylenol wasn?t. So I gave him a couple of doses of Motrin before he went to bed.
01.27: Got up at 345 am with Peyton cause he wasn?t feeling good still. So I gave hi another dose of Motrin and we laid on the sofa and watched Despicable Me. We both fell back asleep about 600 am on the sofa and I almost didn?t wake up in tie to get Ben off to school. Peyton still slept until around 1030 am?I guess he needed the rest. I gave him some more Motrin so I am hoping it will finally break his fever?Matt had an interview today for Melody?s old job. We?ll see how it goes!I helped Sam make a circular scarf for her friend Sasha?s birthday tomorrow. Turned out pretty cute!
01.28: Let Peyton stay home with me again today?I think he is finally starting to feel better?we got dressed and went and got Popeye?s for lunch
I also stopped at JoAnn?s and picked up 3 more 12x12 frames for the wall in my scrap room
We took Ben to see a counselor today and see what they had to say about his behavior and such at school. He gave us some tools to use, so we will see how it goes. I went back out after we got home and got Tacos from the little Taco truck up the street. We bowled and danced on the Wii tonight?I was done after about 4 songs!
