Journaling reads: You were four years old, and looking at pictures in an art book. One picture caught your attention. It was “Madonna Feeding the Child” by Gerard David, painted during the renaissance 500 years ago. You were so captivated by it that you decided to draw your own rendition. You did it from memory, and for a four year old girl it turned out pretty good. It was complete with the mother’s hat, the child’s fuzzy hair, and the meal on the table. There was even a distinct spoon in the picture and the dark wall behind the subjects. Since then you have gone on to create many original works. You are such a little artist.
