I was really really frustrated, sad and angry one Friday evening. So I decided to go for scrap therapy. I remembered the rap I wrote some time ago on the topic of peer pressure - as single childless woman living in a rented place I get a lot of it, believe me.

The story of how I wrote the rap was pretty bizarre. I hired a Polish guy for some work in the kitchen (which he messed up big time and a colleague's hubby had to repair) and he kept asking for tools (should have brought his own, but whatever), so, when he asked the "Do you have a [insert tool]?" question for the umptieth time and the answer was yes, I laughed and said I had everything. And he had the guts to react NO YOU DON'T, YOU DON'T HAVE CHILDREN. I had to breath very deeply to keep my face straight. The next day I wrote the rap.

It was fun to write and I'm sorry most of you won't be able to understand the words. The basic message is that everyone keeps telling me how I should live my life, but thank you, my life is my own to live as I choose, and would you just leave me alone?

BTW this LO features the first product ever that I bought at SSD - Libby's Alpha Sliders.

Oh yes, I know this story of yours well and your turned it into a fabulous page. It has a perfect urban / grunge, even underground feel which totally matches the rap and the emotions you put into it.

WOW this is terrific...sorry some people are just rude and intrusive! Love that you turned the experience into rap scrap therapy! Great job with the flames and tools...so clever!

First, great page! Love the teared photo and the tool elements which accompany the behind-story. Second, I really really love the lyrics and the title (I think this is exactly the situation our language has these words for). Actually, I need the motto in your title sometimes in my own life (obviously in another situations than you - but well, some people have difficulties to simply accept the differences between them and others and they need to judge).
