This has been my struggle all year. It started in January and there are still days that are very HARD! This is the first page of many that will end up being a book of the rebuild.

Journaling: On Sunday January 9 2011, life as we new it changed. Our work and our livelihood went up in flames. At 4:45 the Bryan fire department was called with smoke being seen at our building. By the time we all knew what was going on it was fully engulfed. It was a very hard night to stand there and watch your past burn and have no way to help. On one side of the building the Bryan fire department had their ladder truck working. On the other side was the College Station truck. Water and smoke everywhere. The fire burned for over 16 hours and even then there were still hotspots. At several point walls were knocked down in an effort to get to the fire after the roof fell. All the firemen could do was keep water on it so it didn’t flair up more. The fire chief hated that they couldn’t do more and anytime he saw us would
apologize that there was nothing they could do. Friends and family came to give any and all support that they could and to make sure we were taken
care of. By 10 that night we knew that there was nothing we could do and the damage would be extensive. Dragging ourselves from the scene to a sleepless night of emotions and worry.
