Done for the Sugar Free Challenge #33: The Holiday that Lives In Infamy at SSD
Journaling reads:
It was Christmas Eve 2003, and it was to be the first Christmas that we would be spending as a blended family. We\ were all looking forward to opening gifts together, and starting our own “new” traditions. What we didnt count on was having to beg, plead and then argue with the boys mom about getting them for the evening. Even though it was something that had been agreed on...there were last moment hold ups...and just when we were about to give up--they boys mom decided to let them come. Although we got off to a rocky start, we had a wonderful time....
and refer to it now, as "The Christmas (that almost didnt happen)

That must have been awful! I'm so glad it worked out, and what an important memory to record!
