07.25: Matt left this morning for work wearing a pair if his new shoes that he got yesterday. We all slept in today until after 10 am! We are totally wiped out from the last 2 days of being out and about. I got up and put the dishes in the dishwasher and sort of cleaned up the kitchen from Peyton’s little birthday party. I still have more to do, but ain’t feeling it this early in the morning. Checked my email and this is what matt emailed me:

Sounds like the perfect for Peyton, Abby and Ben! Abby asked if she could have a cupcake for breakfast and of course I said “sure”. I think I might have one myself. Ben finally made it downstairs around 1230 with just his underwear! That kid refuses to put pants or pajama pants on! I managed to at least get a shower and a load of laundry started. It has been raining off and on all morning so going to the park or doing anything outside is out for today. So Sam finally made it downstairs around 3 pm! Must be rough been a teenager. Then I left her with the little kids and went to the grocery store and got a few things in the rain! Came home and Peyton said he had to go poop and sure enough he pooped in the toilet!!! So proud of him! Not to mention that even though he went to bed with a diaper he was dry this morning! Sam has mosquito bites everywhere from only being outside for a few minutes yesterday and said that she was helping John get something out of his van and a wrench in the toolbox fell out and hit her in the hip. 4:32 pm…no sooner than I am proud of Peyton for pooping in the toilet did he go around the corner and sit on the stairs and poop in his underwear! So he is in the shower and eventually plugged the water and decided he would rather take a bath! The kid has had more baths in the last 3 weeks since we started potty training than he has had in the last year! When I went upstairs I did manage to take a picture of Sam on her bed playing on her computer and told her what Peyton was actually doing ON THE STAIRS. She just laughed and said I am glad I muted my game. LMAO! So we ended up having grapes and a rotisserie chicken for dinner. Just didn’t feel like cooking and I think the rain hasn’t helped! Now Abby & Peyton are just fighting in the living room and just CAN NOT seem to get along! They are each sitting in a “square” on the sofa opposite of each other. So at 7:56 pm Abby FINALLY decided to finish her dinner and said “Can I have something else to eat?” my response “As long as I don’t have to cook it”. She proceeded to get an ice cream cone, the ice cream and scoop out and is making her own ice cream cone!! Very resourceful! So Matt came in the kitchen and saw she was having a hard time and asked her if she needed some help and very pitiful like she said “yessssss”. Dad helped her. Now they are bugging him about playing “big guys” on his computer! 10:44 pm Abby came downstairs and said she has a headache and I tell her it is because she needs to go to bed “No mom it is from watching the movie”! 11:30 pm Sam decided to come downstairs and eat a cucumber! Now I am off to bed!
