On Friday, December16th, my workplace had a shooting and this is my layout about that day.....

Journaling:
On Friday, December 16th, an employee at our Rivergrade office shot and killed 2 people, seriously injured another woman and man and then shot himself. There are many stories about why or how this man did this and many different emotions swirling around at our workplace - every one trying to make sense of an act that truly cannot be comprehended. However terrible this act was - it brought about a reminder of how life can change so suddenly in a blink of an eye. Many would have never expected something like this to happen at our work but it did and now we are all working on finding peace and a sense of safety in our offices again. I didn’t know the people involved but it made a significant impact on my life to never take life for granted. I thank God that I am here and that I have the opportunity to tell those I love how much they mean to me. I will enjoy each day to the fullest and pray that those who were affected find some peace and strength in the coming days.
