It had been a hard first couple of months for me, new mom, and you, new baby. You didn’t like sleep, you did some crying. You were sick a lot. But, despite all of that, we played together all day, every day. I was so delighted to have a little one of my very own, & I just enjoyed spending
day after day, playing games with you, and just watching you grow and get smarter every
single day. Your favorite game was always “This little piggie”, and we played it all the time.
You used to giggle and squeal when I even looked at your toes. It was so sweet, and I’ll never forget how precious your smile was, and how much
joy I felt in my heart for you. All of the tiredness from the sleepness nights suddenly
disappeared whenver I looked into your eyes. Every time I hear “This Little Piggie”, I can remember your baby giggles and it always makes me smile.
