Mr. Peppermint is Caleb’s elf that comes to our house every Christmas. This year Mr. Peppermint was a bit more mischievous and Caleb loved it! He started things off by toilet papering the bathroom. Caleb thought that was the most hysterical thing ever, and I know Mr. Peppermint got a kick out of doing the toilet papering. Mr. Peppermint made snowmen out of marshmallows, snow angels in the sugar, got into the icing and cookies, crepe papered Caleb’s room, the ceiling fan in the living room, and made a barrier across Caleb’s door one day. Caleb woke up and started hollering for me that day and said that Mr. Peppermint had trapped him in his room. I went to get him, and rather than busting through the crepe paper Caleb crawled under it. Caleb would tell people that his elf “was always up to something.” Caleb said that he’d miss Mr. Peppermint when he went back to the North Pole, but he’ll be back next year for more mischief!
