We arrived in Sipapu around 10:30am. Caleb was glued to the iPad most of the way, and Morgan slept most of the way it seemed. We found the resort and when we were walking in Caleb saw some kids with snowboards. That did it, instead of skiing he wanted to snowboard and there was no changing his mind. We were able to sign him up for a snowboard lesson within an hour so we got him changed and ready. His instructor for the lesson was McKayla. They seemed to hit it off and they got to work. He got the hang of it pretty quickly. She also had him making snowballs and let him hit her with them, which he loved. She also gave him instructions on eating snow-as in don?t eat the dirty snow. At the end of his lesson he was able to get his foot in and out of the bindings, ride the Magic Carpet up to the top of the practice hill and make it down the hill without any trouble. John said he?d stay with Caleb and let him play so Morgan and I decided we would try to ski. Caleb stayed on the beginner slope all day and was content just doing his thing. By the end of the day he was jumping up in the air with his snowboard and looking like a little pro.
