"Sometimes I think that
one of the things I
miss most about being
an adult before
parenthood was just
being able to travel
where we wanted,
when we wanted. Oh,
we go places now,
but the trips are all
“kid-centered” and
nothing can happen
spontaneously. I’m so
glad we did take one
last “big trip” before
Charlotte was born,
to the Dakotas. I just
love this picture of
the Badlands. I know
once our kids get
older, we’ll be able to
create some new travel
memories"
