Journaling:I have had a list of funny stories and quotes from you over the last few months that I keep meaning to scrap and have not gotten it done. I do not want to loose the memories so I decided to make you a journaling only page and just get the stories down on paper. I would say most of these stories are from November 2011 through March 2012 so you were 3 years 2 months to 3 years 6 months. You had been completely potty trained for well over a year but for some reason had a major set back. You had several accidents over a series of about 3 weeks. One day, after peeing in your pants for the 3rd time in one day you laid down by me and said "Momma, I smell like piss". There was a pee spot on the floor and I asked you what happened and you told me "a reindeer peed on the floor". One time you walked out of your bathroom with wet pants in your hand and new dry pants on and told me that you got your pants wet in the bathroom sink. You then looked at your Daddy and said "Daddy, I not gonna lie to you". Speaking of lying, there was a week or two where you developed a little pattern of lies, none of which were very good. You got a snack out of the pantry and walked over to me with food spilling out of your mouth and told me "Momma, I don't have something in my mouth". You also told me "Don't go in my room, I don't have Cheezits in my pantry in there". You are such a ladies man and people pleaser! I came home from work one night in a rage over something that happened at the hospital. I think you could see the anger in my face because before I even opened my mouth you said "Momma, you look so beautiful today". Your Daddy cracked up laughing because you clearly could see Mommy needed a smile and you knew just how to make it happen. You told me "I'm so disappointed at you" when you were mad at me one day. When you were at the mall with Daddy you guys saw a very morbidly obese lady and you were screaming "look at that lady's butt Daddy" in your loudest voice. You took some candy out of the girls dresser drawer and came running into my bedroom. I told you that the candy did not belong to you and you insisted that it did. I was certain your sisters would not have given away their candy. You told me "sisters gave it to me" and I told you I doubted it. You said "I ran in their room, took it from their drawer and nobody chased me, so that means its mine!". You are such a smart cookie! We were at a hotel and there was a little sign by the elevator showing a fire and stairs and you told me "that says if there is a fire you better take the stairs". You came home from Des Moines Christian Preschool one day and told me that you and Tate were singing "Red Solo Cup" (which is a beer drinking song, great). You told Daddy "you're going to be a TV junkie and that won't make you healthy". You woke up one morning and told me "Mommy my tummy hurts and I don't need to poop but it feels like a birdie is stuck in there". You and I were laying on the living room floor just playing and being goofy. I was pretending to eat your piggy toes and telling you "Oh man, these taste terrible, ewwwww, yucky, I might puke, etc". You told me you wanted to taste my piggy toes. You pretended to take a bite of my toes and then yelled "Son of a bitch these are disgusting!" One day I had a horrible headache and was kind of mumbling around and it really bugged you and you told me "talk normal Mommy". You always want to drink chocolate milk in my bed and I always tell you no and explain that I have cream sheets and I do not want chocolate milk stains on them. I usually let you drink chocolate milk in your bed because you have dark navy sheets. One day you were laying in my bed with me and said "Momma can you buy some blue sheets for your bed?". You had a case of diarrhea one day and I told you we call that "the runs". Later that night you told me "hurry Mommy I have zooms again". I said to you, "Gus you sure are happy after a good nap" and you told me "No, I'm happy when I have a Happy Meal from McDonalds". One day we were going to Arby's for lunch and you said, "No, I don't want Arby's. I don't want a sad or mad meal I want a Happy Meal". You said "Mommy will you talk to God with me? Dear God, I need a baby brother. He will be named Camden. Mommy, he said yes". At learn to skate, we could see from the stands you were laying on the ice and would not get up. Your teacher was hovering over you and then another teacher and then another teacher and then finally the director. I thought you were probably being really naughty but soon I saw the director frantically waving to the stands looking for a parent. I ran to ice to find the teachers in a near panic. They said you were unresponsive, limp and wouldn't respond. I started to panic but as I took you from the teacher you opened your eye a slit and I could see that sparkle and I knew you were faking! I asked you what the problem was and you told me "I keep falling down and I tired and I just want to lay on your shoulder". One February day you woke up and immediately started telling me about the dream you had. You said "I was in Santa's workshop trying to make a present for Santa. I put it all together and it keep falling all apart. Its going to take our whole family. I even have wrapping paper in my closet for Santa's present".
