When we were in Colorado, you finally got the chance to really fish. On our first full day there, you and your Dad set up a spot in the Rio Grande and were able to do a little fishing. You got a little bored with it after a while and did a little exploring. Your Dad hooked a trout and you went over and reeled it in. I don’t know who was more excited-you or your Dad. You reeled it in, checked it out, and then your Dad threw it back in. Y’all fished a few more times, but that was the only one y’all caught that trip. We also took the 4 wheelers up to Henderson Lake and did a bit of fishing up there, but never got any bites. We enjoyed the ride though and I loved checking out my old stomping grounds. The first fish I ever caught was a one eyed trout on Henderson Lake when I was 4.
