Some of it can be attributed to my pragmatic nature, but not all. One of the main reasons I don't dream is that I am scared. Scared of what you may ask? Well, frankly I am scared of most things; heights, bugs, close spaces, failure and rejection. Dreamers have to be brave enough to face their fears and believe they can overcome them. They have to look forward with a positive attitude and be willing to step into the dark abyss. I am not that brave, but I want to be and I am trying to be. Granted I am taking baby steps by putting myself out there in little ways. I am testing the waters and getting a feel for how deep they are. For the first time in 20 years, my toes are wet. I'm still scared but I am rebuilding my self confidence and starting to believe that one day I will be able to step out, spread my wings and soar. I look forward to flying.

This is gorgeous Lorie! and hugs to you too. I know some of what you feel exactly - you weren't created overnight and the changes will come slowly too, but I think you are an inspiration too.
