Deep Journaling:
Everyday is hard. Everyday my kids get into stuff, ding up my new walls and cabinets, make messes and drive me crazy with their fighting and crying. So many times I start yelling and sometimes even cry because I’m so frustrated. I struggle to stay positive and I often tell myself, “I hate my life!” Every time I say it, I feel guilty because I actually feel that way and yet I know I shouldn’t. Even though I am trying to have a better outlook and be a better mother, I still feel like such a failure. This stage is so hard. Every single day is hard. I need so much strength that I feel like I don’t have. That is why I need to depend more on my Heavenly Father and have faith in His help and in myself. I need to do a good job and feel like I am. I need to be less selfish and realize more often that it is worth it. My girls and our children yet to come are worth it.
“Do the best you can through these years, but whatever else you do, cherish that role that is so uniquely yours and for which heaven itself sends angels to watch over you and your little ones. Mothers...please know that it is worth it then, now and forever. - Jeffrey R. Holland

This is the way we all feel when our kids are little, but we feel like we're not "allowed" to say so. I love all the beautiful colors and layering on this page.

I love that the page is so lovely, yet the journaling is so raw. Beautiful page.
