For the Tell Your Story Challenge #2
journaling-
Two of the things that I really remember about living in San Diego were the BLUE sky and BLUE water! We moved to San Diego when I was just 3 months old and I lived there until I was almost 12 years old. We lived in military housing because my dad was in the Navy. He was stationed on a variety of ships and often was out to sea, leaving my mom and I at home. The entire time we were
there we lived on Naval Air Station Miramar, which is famous for being Top Gun training for the Navy’s best pilots. The roar of fighter jets was nearly constant, as were the sonic booms! Although the housing wasn’t beautiful, the city was. We enjoyed the wonderful weather and how close the beach was. I miss the palm trees, the blue skies, and the beautiful sunshine days a lot. I just might have the
San Diego blues.
