In this week’s Pop Rocks Challenge at Sweet Shoppe Designs we are asked to think of one modern day gadget that you can't imagine going without.
As I thought about what gadget I wanted to profile for this challenge, lots of ideas raced through my mind. I love my DVR. Life would not be the same without a microwave. On and on my thoughts went. Then it hit me, I am having trouble uploading pictures from my camera and will not have images of anything until I get that worked out. Eeeeekkkk!
What would I do without a digital camera? This hobby just would not be the same. Sure it is fun to go back and scan old pictures once in a while, but who wants to go back to having to wait for a developer to gives us our images.
I want to know if I got a good shot immediately after one of my boys blows out the candles at their birthday party. (Yes, I have occasionally made them reenact the cake scene.)
I have a really nice Nikon 35mm SLR camera that takes great pictures, yet it sits on a shelf and catches dust. I choose to stick with my point and shoot digital.
It may not be the most important convenience in modern society, but I know I would feel lost without my digital camera.
