After a hard freeze at Christmas, I didn't see him for a few weeks, and was hoping that he wasn't gone for good. And then, on the 3rd of January, there he was...soaring across the lake about half a mile from my house. I am always in awe at the sight, and giddy after the fact...it's an amazing experience.

This is gorgeous. We have one that sits on the neighbor's dock outside and we get to watch it every day too.
