Journaling:
I am so horribly homesick!
It’s been nearly 3 years since
I’ve been home to see my family
and friends. Not only do I miss the
people back home, but I miss home
itself. I LOVE the Northwest! Seattle
especially. It’s one of the most fun and
beautiful places on the planet. There is
something fun for everyone. Not only
is Seattle the home of the very 1st Star-
bucks, but it’s also home to some of the
best food, water sports, skiing, hiking,
biking, and more, in the country. The
weather in the summer is perfect and,
though it rains quite a bit, Spring is quite
beautiful as well. I really miss the smell
of the fresh air, the gorgeous evergreen
trees lining the highway, the snow-
capped mountains all around, the lake
glistening in the sunshine, the eagles
perched high in the hills and the deer
roaming the fields. I miss being able to
hang out with my friends after church
and seeing my family on a regular basis.
I miss my kids getting to grow up with
their cousins and my friends’ kids. I
miss them having life-long friends in
school. I just miss it all!
