I just had to do another for the new Paper 2 Digi Challenge featuring Kelly Gorree's gallery!!!

Now that my oldest is turning 12, it is all about the outfit.....

Journaling reads:
Now that you turning 12, shopping with you has become a little interesting since you graduated to the JUNIOR section! I will admit I can certainly feel my age now when we walk up to a dress or shirt and you instantly scream that THIS is the outfit you just have to have. Then I turn around and see um no that is NOT the outfit for you! Up and down the aisles we go, you picking things that only Paris Hilton would wear and I have to be the bad cop and say “Sorry not for you!” I have gotten so good at saying no that I can actually manuever a shopping cart, talk to your sister and read my text messages on my cell phone! And to my surprise, your father is pretty good about his “no” too that you have decided I am actually the nice one to go shopping with! So although you may not agree with why we say no to this or that, please know we only do it because we love you and want you to look like a young lady whose parents care about you! See we let you buy this dress although it caused a heart attack with your grandma! Thank goodness you wear uniforms every day and the only conflict we have to deal with is those darn bangs in your eyes!
