"I took this in the hospital today,
sitting there watching mom and grandma talk about something, I can’t quite remember. Sitting in the room, trying to be so strong for her, when all I want to do is break down and cry. I knew what to expect when I went to see her today, but it was still such a shock. I knew I’d cry, but I wanted to show you how strong I am for you. You have already been through so much in your life, that we don’t want you to go through this as well. Yet you’ve shown us just how much of a fighter you really are. Still being so strong, yet knowing when to ask for some help. I
know you can get through this, I have so many prayers said for you. So strong in your darkest hour, yet still just as beautiful in my eyes as you’ve always been. You’ve been a hero in my eyes, and that will never change. We love you grandma so much. You are the rock in each of our lives, the glue that holds this family together. The one I call to talk to and for Owen to just chat with. The one to help out when we needed it the most, and the one always with a smile on her face. Keep your head up, I know you’ll make it through this! Love always, Brandy April 21, 2008"
