We finally bought a new washer & dryer. The old dryer was dying & old washer lacked capicity. We bought the dented floor model of the washer, which came with a bottom drawer that could not be removed. We decided to get a drawer for the dryer as well. We hadn't considered just how tall that would make the washer & dryer. Lowes offered free delivery & installation. However when the men arrived they were unable to install the dryer. Our duct work is plastic & no longer meets code. It would all have to be replaced. The washer could not be installed because the hoses were not long enough. We had to buy new duct and longer hoses and Brad had to climb into the ceiling with the 30 year old insulation & and tangle of pipes & wires, remove the old, plasticduct and run new metal duct. Then we had to maneuver the very large & heavy appliances into their places.
They fit. Barely.

Oh I'm jealous!! I would love front loaders!! Mind you I would love to not have to go the laundry mat anymore....LOL!!
