I?ve never been a huge fan of birds in the first place. They?re unpredictable and down-right creepy, in my opinion. But certain events have made it very clear to be that birds are completely evil. When I was in middle school I was walking to a friend?s house after school and a bird just totally dive-bombed us, trying to peck us on the heads. We screamed and ran and it pursued us, diving and pecking. I once got a little too close to a swan at one of our favorite nature preserves and it spread out it?s ginormous wings and lunged at me. Last year I got up quite early on a Saturday for a bike ride down my favorite path, and along the way I came across some geese. Oh no! I very carefully tried to sneak past, but one raced after me anyway and popped me in the leg. Ouch! There is a dairy farm that John and the kids and I like to visit in the summer, but the place is crawling with farm birds. They are everywhere and I break out in a cold sweat every time. One time John thought it would be funny to hold me down and call the birds. I thought I was going to cry. He is a sick sick man.

Aww, you and birds clearly are not a match, Val! I love 'em, but we all have our own unique fears. I'll admit this cracked me up a bit, mainly because your overall layout is so darn cute, but I'm sure you don't feel that way! Great job on this challenge!

LOL! Love your title and journaling. We've been having a bird battle here (they kept wanting to build a nest on our porch and we kept fighting them off) so I agree that they are evil!

lol....I totally understand. A real good friend of mine has a total fear of birds! She hasn't had much luck with them either! Great page to scrap!

Oh my... that was funny at the end about him holding you down... well, i am sure it wasn't funny for you at the time or even now... I am not a huge fan of birds myself. I like them but at a distance or in a cage! The LO is great though and I love the "Do not" logo over the bird - cracking me up!!
