The best thing I love about my life is that I am somebody’s MOM! Not just
anybodies MOM, but my four precious baby’s MOM! A MOM is all I have
ever wanted to be and do. I never really aspired to be a movie star or
a sports legend. Never aspired to be an astronaut, fire fighter or policeman.
I didn’t even want to be a doctor, nurse or teacher. All I wanted
to do is get married and have babies!! To love and take care of some
one else. To nurture them and help them grow into the best person
they can be. To kiss scraped knees & skinned elbows, to wake
up for 2am feedings, to have spit up on my shirt and get wet
slobbery baby kisses whenever I wanted them. To make a home that
is messy and looks lived in To have spaghetti sauce
stains on my white kitchen chairs and
dried play-doh caked in the playroom carpet. Artwork all over the walls and hand prints smudging my windows and TV screens! Little shoes and little shirts littering my floors. Lots of laughs and home cooked meals, story time, snuggle fests and tickle fights. A safe haven, a place, a home they’ll always want to come back too!! This is what I dreamed of for as far back as I can remember. To love and be loved unconditionally.
