There is one word that I love to hear and yet I
have to admit that I hate it sometimes.
MOM
I know it sounds bad to say that I hate the
word because while I absolutely love being a mom
to my sweet girl there are days. When I
swear if I hear “MOM...MOM....MOM....MOM”
from her or her dad one more time I’m going
to scream. It never fails. I just get sat down to
have a few minutes to myself and they start
yelling. And it’s never for anything that they can’t
do for themselves or for anything that they
really need me for. It’s purely for them to interrupt
me from doing something for myself. It’s like
they have this pact between the 2 of them to
make sure that all my attention is solely on them.
And I hate that I feel that way too.
I love being a mom wouldn’t trade it for
anything. But damn it
I just want 10 minutes of quiet to myself.
Without someone yelling....MOM
