Each time I catch her with the thumb or remote (yuck) in her mouth she had to put money in the can - the amount went up incrementally each week. Each day she didn't "get caught" she earned a chip and once she got 5 chips, she could trade them in for a prize (pokemon cards, webkinz accessory)... Leslie, what a great idea! We are trying to get J to stop sucking his thumb! Right now he goes to bed with masking tape on them. I think he might be too young for this though...I'll keep it in mind if the tape fails!
