Journaling reads: Today is a day that I have feared for some time now. Knowing that I have to say goodbye to you this weekend and knowing that I will never hear your voice again breaks my heart. I love you not only for what you mean to me as my grandmother, but also for what you meant to my mom....I know how much she cherished you. I am at peace knowing that the two of you are together again. Not many people have the priveledge of meeting their great-grandparents, but I wasone of the lucky one........because I had you.
