Whisper was born with a severe handicap which was not apparent until she was few weeks old, but had a love of life that I've never seen in anyone, human or critter, before. She passed away in my arms 3 months prior to her her 3rd birthday, somewhat unexpectedly. Being handicapped it was always expected to some degree, but we really thought we'd have a whole lot more time with her.
