My heart absolutely went into creating this layout, from kit selection (one of THE MOST beautiful kits I've used in a long time; it resonated with me as soon as I saw it in the Shoppe) to the journalling. I tend not to create pages about myself very often, as I'm generally too busy documenting our children and our adventures as a family. Part of me wondered whether I should even put this in our album at all, but I think I want to, as it's important for my children to know more about me as a person and not just as a mother. xx

Oh this is just such a striking page, I love it. This is a gorgeous kit I agree, and oh goodness your journaling is awesome! I love what you said about including it, how true that our kids need to know more about us not just as moms but as people - I'm not great at this either. You've inspired me!

This is so gorgeous Rebecca! Yes, I definitely think it is important for us to scrap ourselves so the kids have memories of us and the things their mom/dad enjoyed and our thoughts and things like that.
