I have always been intrigued by plants as evidence by my newly sprouted basil below. As a child I had a school project during which we germinated seeds in a plastic bag with a paper towel. We'll just say I was a junior horticulturist... To this day my aunt cannot see me without recounting the story of how I left the plastic bag on my windowsill in the sun until all the seeds had rotted.
