I started out with paper scrapping and card making too, and when digital started being available everyone said it wasn't 'real' scrapbooking. Guess we showed them! lol! This is great. Love all the elements you fit in but the journaling isn't lost.

This is a gorgeous page! I started with paper too and was afraid when I started digi that I wasn't really scrapping...I'm so much more consistent and caught up though and love it!
I agree with Val - the journaling is definitely so present on your layout even with all the elements you included, great job.
