For Shutterbug Shakedown #20 (freestyle).

Journaling: I spend hours here every day, looking, reading, creating, thinking, writing, experimenting, undoing, redoing, thinking some more, looking some more, trying something else. What would I be doing if my world weren’t digital? Would I still be believing the lie that I’m not creative, that I cannot do art? If it weren’t for digital, would I have rediscovered my love of photography, or would the old film camera still languish? WIthout Photoshop would I have ever overcome my fears and given paper scrapbooking a real try? Would I appreciate patterns and flowers and the catchlights in my children’s eyes, or would I still be walking more or less blind, stuck in my head, lights out? The computer age has opened up wide worlds for me, worlds outside of me the whole globe wide, but also worlds within me, worlds not word-bound and filled with wonder and beauty. I am grateful.
