For the Sugar Free Challenge at Sweet Shoppe Designs... scrap myself right now, the good, the bad or the ugly. This gave me a chance to vent a little about motherhood.
Journaling:
It has been one of those days. Actually, it has been a challenging few months. I can hardly believe I would say this, but motherhood was easier when these two people were much smaller. I’ll take sore boobs, chronic sleep deprivation, dirty diapers, screaming wails, spit-up showers, all of it, over the trials we are facing now. Lately, I lose my temper. I feel like my fuse has been worn down. Today I had no patience, even for the little one. My kids are in bed, and I should feel relieved. Well, I do. A little. But mostly I feel guilty. I was not a good mother today. I want to get back in the game.... right now, I promise I will do better tomorrow.
