Journaling Reads:
I’m ready. I know it’s going to be a long road filled with many battles, but I need to do
this. I am determined to reach my goal, to be stronger, healthier and more fit. This will
be the last summer spent cringing at the pool, terrified someone might see me in my
bathing suit. This will be the last point in my life that I will try on 25 outfits every
morning before I find the one that makes me look the least fat. I am not going to sit
back and worry about how my weight might affect my health. I’m done hating myself and my
body. This is the point in my life that I am going to learn to love myself and to put
myself at the top of my list of priorities. I’m choosing to be proactive and to take
control of my own destiny. Thus, I am beginning the journey towards becoming stronger
both physically and spiritually.
