SSD's 13th Birthday Party: Feb 3
In honor of Mr. Punxsutawney Phil, today's party game is a photo challenge. It can be a new photo or an old photo that you took... but it has to have a distinct shadow of a person or animal... AND tell us a little bit about the photo - why you took it, who is the shadow of, etc

93% Totality during the Solar Eclipse
The older girls were at school and the little man was home with me. He wanted to know what I was doing and why I was trying to photograph the sun. Just before totality, he put his glasses on and saw the event that I had been photographing. He was mesmerized, mostly because he could look at the sun without hurting his eyes, but because he saw it getting dark! I looked down at him while he was ooh'ing and wow'ing, snapped a photo to document him being a witness to this amazing event!

I have some great shadow pictures from the eclipse too! Such a cool time to capture! SUPER cute picture! I wonder if our kiddos will remember it as they grow up?
