I'm so sorry for the goodbye - true love to make sure he's safe and secure in a better home situation, but not easy. Beautiful page. I hope someday the photo is more comforting, like seeing an old friend.

I'm so sorry Sarah. Being a recently converted cat person with 2 fur babies myself, I can't even imagine. I'm glad that you found a loving home. Your page is a beautiful tribute to your sweet kitty. Love the stitching accents.

Thank you all for your heartwarming comments. I'm still in a lot of pain and I still cry from time to time. The bright sight is that I can still visit him and I still can get pictures of him. It doesn't make it easier, but it makes it heals my heart a little bit.

I notice this amazing but so sad layout yesterday. I'm just so sorry about Remi. I know how much you love him and it must have been a very hard decision to take. It's great you can see him and know where he is but be heartbroken for you.
You choose the best for him.
I send you big hugs and hope you can see him as often you want!

Thanks everyone for the nice and sweet comments. I went to visit him 2 weeks ago. He is doing great. It was nice to see him again and to notice he is doing just fine. But still, it breaks my heart.
