Journaling: What was the name of your school?
Elementary: St John Vianney
7th & 8th: Sacred Heart
High School: San Benito HS
How did you get to school?
In elementary school, we carpooled with another family the 20 minutes across town to our school. After we moved to Hollister, my mom taught at the same school we attended so we went to school with her. In high school I had to walk from Sacred Heart every morning to the high school. I was very glad when I was finally old enough to drive!
Who was your favorite teacher?
Mrs. Davis (2nd grade), Mrs. Peterson (8th grade) and my HS math teacher.
What was your favorite academic subject? Growing up I used to hate math but by high school, it was one of my favorite subjects. I even chose a major in college that was almost all math, haha. I also loved doing art projects as well as music and theater.
What kind of lunch did you eat? We didn’t have a regular hot lunch at school so I had to bring my own.
