OK, had more pics from the puddle day, but of Jake, goodness that boy can get dirty. There is dirty DROOL so LONG in that closeup pic of him, NASTY.haha So a companion page in my book, doesn't happen all that often=)

journaling reads:
For years, every time it rained the rain would collect at the end of the sidewalk out in front of our house by the road. Dirt had washed into it this time as well too, and Katie had a blast jumping in the puddle in her rainboots and raincoat. I loved that matching set, it has been passed down through all 3 sisters now. Well, Jake must have seen his sister out there earlier, because later after the rain had drained and only the mud remained he dashed out and THROUGH the mess of MUD
He had the biggest grin on his face and danced around out there for as long as he could, cause there was mommy stuck on the side of the puddle not able to reach INTO the puddle to grab him and not willing to walk into all the mud herself either. Once he got close enough I could reach him, I grabbed the ultra useful straps of his overalls and carried him into the house by the straps. It was funny, and Daddy was quick and grabbed the camera, that was so nice of Jake to dance that long in the mud for us....
