What Kind Of An Apoclypse?

May 2020 PTSS # 16 - Pop Culture

My son recently came downstairs looking really worried and concerned. He came to me and said

I need you to be honest with me and tell me what kind of apocalypse we are having. Is it a zombie apocalypse or a virus because I do not know if I can do a zombie apocalypse!

He was very serious and almost in tears sharing his concern for the state of the world. I hate that he knows about Covid -19 and hate how it has affected him. I can only imagine what terrible thoughts are going through his head.

Very scary because we want to protect our children from all the bad things.
I love this layout! Creepy but awesomely creepy!

Oh, I had never thought about this kit to scrap the pandemic with. I hope you don't mind that I steal your idea and use it as well for the pandemic at some point.

That being said... I'm so sorry you have to deal with this. I'm so sorry your son gets scared. And who can blame him? I get scared too about this whole thing from time to time. I really hope all of this will end soon and the pandemic will be a distant memory for him. Hugs to you, mama!

I love how you scrapped the story though. I love the barbed wire (I love barbed wire in layouts, I like to use it myself as well) and I love the blocking. I love the greenery underneath it and I love the caution tape with all the hands. Perfect layout, but I wish you didn't have to scrap it.

This is a super creepy way to scrap about the pandemic, Wendy. So sorry that your son is all worried and scared of it :(
I love how you scrapped about it so perfectly, though! That page is a perfect representation of how your son feels and I can feel that being conveyed.

Kids, huh, they worry more than we think, they think about us and worry that we adults worry and they're just waiting for a cue to know whether they should panic too or not. I love how you scrapped this, I think the kit and the wordarts are relatable.
