These two were not exactly motivated to get any personal bests at this race. One of them should have placed in the top 5 among the 4-5 schools there and one should have been middle of the pack. However, they knew this was considered a fun run and their times were not being recorded. So, they screwed around at the start trying to make it look like they weren't wearing shorts and then took their sweet time running the course, bringing up the far rear. They were way more focused on getting 'colorful' than running.
