Passport to Sweet Stuff Challenges
#13. Journal Art Journaling

I choose to do some scrap therapy with writing what makes me really angry and stress right now.

Journaling:
Back to school is two weeks away and no news from school ...
We just know the measures have been relaxed so no more social distancing, no masks for you, you can be mixed into multiple classes ...
And however we are told about the second wave! The numbers are worrying and all all the lights are red!!!
The number of cases continues to increase and with all the mix-ups that there was with the holidays, it will not get better...
What to do? You want to go back to school and it's obligatory, but I'm furious! Furious at this government which does not take any action, does not give us real information ... Furious at these people who make fun of the Covid as if it were old history ...
And many unanswered questions, school or no school?

I know how you feel and I know how angry, sad and scared you are. It's not okay from the school to not give all the parents the info they need to send their kids to school in a safe way.
Hang in there my friend. One thay, we will beat the virus!
In the meantime, you scrapped the story beautifully. I love the photo of O and N wearing their masks. (You have such adorable kids). And I love how you used the kit. The big question mark is really eye-catching! Beautiful work, as always!
I hope scrapping this layout worked a little bit therapeutic for you!

Ugh how frustrating that must've felt for you and the kids, Emily! It truly shows on the page here, you've done such a great job making that page!

I'm so sorry this is like how I feel here. My kids are for the first time both out of k-12 school, for which I am relieved. At university the problems are different, but masks are required which relieves me some. Our local schools are not requiring masks either - which I believe is a mistake. Prayers your way for a safe school year and some answers. Your page is amazing!

You've documented this scary situation perfectly! We are starting remotely in a week for good or bad. Stay safe!

I love the grunge/artsy look of this page! It shows your emotion with the big question mark too.
