The start of my day, coffee and the morning medication. I take same of them again 3 times a day, some of them twice and there are others added at night,on top of these, which are basically keeping me alive. One of the first small victories is just waking up, then there are days in which sickness doesn't allow me to take all these tablets , some of them are so big and depending on how the night went, but don't get me wrong, I am NOT complaining. I talked about the small victories not too long ago, and, as I said in that page, same almost applies to this...
I recently watched again Miracles from Heaven. In the end, when the mum is speaking at the Church, she says you can choose to go two ways in life : one is as if miracles never happen, the other is to look and see that tiny miracles are happening around us ALL the time, that allow for the important things to happen, some are so tiny, we cannot see them as miracles until quiet some time after. With the small victories, it works more or less on the same system...if we learn to see our ability to conquer the small things in the everyday, we are more powerful to make the big things happen.
