My mum was here from South America for a month, we booked a short break to Malta to surprise her, we also took Sarita's best friend from secondary school, who is like another daughter to me. I chose Malta as one of my most loved scrappers lives there, so, meeting her and husband in person would be amazing, and the price offer was also great. Even though the actual travel time in the plane is slightly over 2 hours- which for us, used to 14 hours transatlantic is nothing!, but between the whole check in process, the delays because we took my wheelchair but they insisted it had to go to the baggage area, which meant VERY late at night at the airport, desperate to go to bed to then enjoy the day after, well, seeing the hotel made us a lot calmer, it was indeed amazing, the concierge lady was super friendly and gave us all the info we needed The only draw back was that, because we got one of the big suites, the distance to the restaurant for breakfast and then swimming pool with Cave Bar, the trip involved ramps, two lifts, also a bit of a walk so Thank God we took our wheelchair! The tiny photo in the frame is my mum having a rest after an hour in the transport they sent to pick us up at the airport.
