I had three boys so I certainly empathize with what you went through! It's hard, it's really hard because sometimes, no matter what you say, you just can't win the battle. It's great that you have a mom who listens and gives sound advise. Glad things worked out in the end. Great page!

Oh, hon... as the saying goes, I am having all the feels for you right now. I'm a stepmom, and there have been lots of teary phone calls made to my mom, usually behind a closed bedroom and closet door where my husband wouldn't be able to hear. I hope that writing this down and creating the layout were therapeutic for you! I can tell you put a lot of thought into which word strips and elements to use in your layers. Hang in there, mama - and remember that moment by moment, we need to allow ourselves the same grace we would give to our best friend if they were in our situation.

You know I thought you were an inspiration 10 years ago, and now every page you make is again, marvelously inspiring, always beauty, emotion, and the gift to make something beautiful and impressive of those not so beautiful experiences we go through in life..... Sorry haven't been much around.... we ll talk later, almost 4 am here of Thursday, I haven't slept , but I saw a notification of our pages for this challenge being feature together in Instagram..... and it makes me emotional, proud and honored that not just we are featured together, be featured with you... but also that after all those years I am again delighted to share with you this part of our lives that connects the heart with art...and you still keep getting better and better...lets try talk soon, I know I have been bad, things here are difficult but keeping Faith and Hope.....I know this too will pass!!!
