My sweet pup Molly. We rescued her from the pound when she was 5 years old. She was 17 years old and in great health when she got attacked by an unleased dog in our neighborhood. The attack did something to her back, and she couldn't walk. It broke my heart to have to have her put down, but we really had no choice. The vet said they could do exploratory surgery--but we chose not to put her through that. She was such a good dog. We loved her so much.

Oh, that is so awful! I'm so sorry that happened to sweet Molly, she looked so adorable. My elderly, special needs cat died this year too due to tragedy and it still breaks me. It wasn't her time to go, she had been through so much, but sadly life can be harsh. As painful as it was, I'm glad at least you could be with her to the end, she would never have doubted how much she was loved. Sending hugs to you and love your layout, it brings beauty and sadness in equal measures
