I love this page and your story! Our two daughters had speech impediments and received speech therapy. Our grandson had speech apraxia and was locked inside his body with very little way to verbally communicate. He endured being bullied by some children because his speech impediment was so severe. He has been receiving speech therapy for years and has a voice. . He is constantly sharing witty stories and insights! Speech therapists truly are superheroes!

Oh what an adorable layout. But sorry to read she had to go through this.
I love those cute photos though. And I love your pretty clusters and details. Those speech bubbles are the perfect finishing touch. Beautifully done. As always.

So sorry she had to go through that, but glad that it worked out in the end. I like the journal card about everyone deserves a voice. And love the speech bubbles adding to the journaling. She's darling!!

Absolute perfection, the photos and kit colors! Such a great moment to journal about. The story reminds me so much of my daughter's work, she's a SLPA and is always educating me on her student's growth. Hugs

She was then and still is such a cutie! How great that she got the therapy she needed, and you've documented it perfectly. The bright colors and so striking, and that alphabet paper is spot on. Super layout!

Oh no she is so little! How cute is that! I'm so sorry for your experience but find it really great your State had this kind of help system. My son did have speech therapy but there's no help and we miss a lot of speech therapist here's so it was complicated. We never really know clearly what he had except he wasn't talking as he was supposed for his age but all came back to normal with the time. I honestly think he just need more time. For Sydney, she was such a courageous little girl and you she was lucky to have you to understand her!
I love how you scrap this time in her life and explain her from what she suffers exactly, such a wonderful layout!
